The service

Steady provides private, simulated voice rehearsal for professional conversations. It is a practice and coaching tool, not legal, medical, employment, or HR advice, and it does not replace qualified professional judgment.

Voice rehearsal and feedback

Voice rehearsal, transcript analysis, and personal feedback are core parts of Steady. When you start a rehearsal, your microphone audio is sent to the ElevenLabs account configured with Zero Retention Mode. The resulting transcript is sent to Z.AI's general API to create your debrief, and the feedback is used to build your progress history. Steady does not train models on rehearsal content, opt in to model improvement, or sell it. Z.AI's published API terms say End User Content is processed for the API service, is not stored, and is not used to improve models unless the customer opts in; this is for Z.AI API service, not its consumer or Coding Plan products. Steady temporarily stores raw transcripts on its own backend for up to 30 days by default; derived feedback and progress history remain until account deletion. These steps are described in the Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms and using voice rehearsal, you request this processing as part of the service. You can stop a rehearsal at any time and delete your account and saved history in Settings.

Your responsibility

Use fictional or appropriately anonymized details in rehearsals. Do not share confidential information, personal data about another person without a lawful basis, threats, abuse, or content that violates applicable law or workplace policy.

Accounts and deletion

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure. You may delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete account. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes and what may be retained by law.

Subscriptions

No paid subscription is currently offered. If paid digital access is introduced in the iOS app, it will be offered through Apple’s In-App Purchase system with the price, renewal period, benefits, and cancellation information shown before purchase.
